Originally built in the 19th century as a book bindery, the Tribeca condo building’s design was inspired by original architectural details and the grand proportions of the existing structure. The converted asset celebrates the original construction while introducing distinctive, crafted details that compliment modern materials to heighten its residential adaptation. The design also places an emphasis on natural light, further maximized through the large arched windows, double height spaces and views of the lushly landscaped courtyard. Working with the existing structure, residential units are playfully distributed to create individual and varying spaces within the 7+ stories of this building. The partnership was able to successfully sell 100% of the residential units, at or above original projected sell-out prices.
